The purpose of the Recovery Technician Lead position is to facilitate Recovery Technician duties as well as provide supervisory support to the Clinical Coordinator and Recovery Technician team. The schedule for this position will be Monday - Friday 3pm - 11pm Essential Responsibilities: • Assist the Clinical Coordinator with the administrative and compliance functions; Provide instruction and training for staff, interns, and contract staff, in his/her respective discipline, as opportunities permit or as assigned by the Clinical Coordinator., • Direct the day-to-day operations of the program; schedule meetings and services. Provide, or arrange for, coverage for positions, as needed., • Facilitate the residential admission and discharge processes including: processing incoming referrals and facilitation of screenings, admission, clinical assessment, and discharge., • Provides counseling, education, and supervision of clients in both individual and group settings as part of a multi-disciplinary team to assist clients in achieving their treatment goals., • Directs, participates, and assists clients in planning and carrying out daily activities and evaluates clients during activities., • Maintains clinical documentation including client progress towards goals, documentation of activities, med observation records, shift notes, etc., • Provide orientation to new clients upon intake., • Maintain all client records in current status and in accordance with agency policies and procedures, as well as health plan, state, and federal requirements, • Produce complete, timely, thorough, quality clinical documentation of all services rendered, both billable and non-billable, as required. The documentation must include sufficient information about the activity being documented and the client’s participation in, and response to, the activity., • Provide transportation to consumers as appropriate and determined by the residential team., • Attend regular scheduled weekly supervision meetings. Seek out additional supervision as needed, • Participate in all regularly scheduled administrative, in-service, and department staff meetings., • Recommend to the Clinical Coordinator or Department Manager changes that would improve service delivery. Implement changes and new programming as directed., • Provide continuous evaluation of the effectiveness of treatment through the ongoing assessment of the person and input from the person and relevant others resulting in modification to the service plan as necessary., • Adhere to the agency's policies and procedures. Comply with the agency's standard of care for service delivery. Assist with Quality Management, Quality Assurance, and Utilization Review., • Perform additional related duties as requested. What you’ll provide: • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Family Studies, or other behavioral health field. OR 4 years of experience of direct behavioral health services to meet BHT requirements., • Experience working with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders preferred., • Strong verbal and written communication skills is required., • Must have a valid AZ driver's license with no major infractions in the past three years., • Must have Fingerprint clearance card or be eligible to obtain one., • Demonstrated ability to remain calm in crisis situations, work independently and cooperatively, recognize personal limitations, and relate positively and with empathy to all persons regardless of age, race, creed, gender or sexual orientation., • Maintain professional conduct consistent with ethical professional practice and the policies and procedures of the agency., • Maintain a professional demeanor and positive working relationships with internal and external team members, stakeholders, and community and business partners., • If driving while on agency time or on agency business, a valid Arizona driver license and appropriate liability insurance and approval for liability coverage with EMPACT - SPC’s liability insurance carrier is required. At time of hire, a 3-year state driving record with no major infractions or excessive driving violations/tickets is required.
