Responsibilities • Develop and execute strategies for national health media for campaigns, products/services and compelling trend stories. Qualifications • A minimum of 4+ years of experience in developing and implementing communications programs, with an emphasis on public relations work for large pharma and public sector clients. Agency experience is strongly preferred., • Experience managing paid product integrations, media partnerships or brand sponsorships with a focus on producing sponsored content, with an understanding of the process from RFP to AAR, and all points in between. Demonstrated ability to manage deal points and contracting process and integration of partnerships into owned social media channels, • Understanding of and passion for media, content, and creative and the details that go into taking a partnership concept from ideation, to implementation, and finally to market in a variety of forms – online, broadcast and social, • Energetic, self-starter and resourceful problem solver – gets things moving and keeps them on track. Essential Requirements: • Bachelor's/undergraduate degree required; MBA in Marketing or a related field preferred, • Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial Marketing with multi-functional experience in Pharmaceutical or Healthcare or Consumer Packaged goods preferred, • Demonstrated experience in utilizing data, insights, analytics, and behaviors into optimizing marketing performance and outcomes., • Experience in supporting high performing brands in highly competitive categories within the US; recent launch experience for blockbuster specialty treatments preferred, • Strong cross-functional leadership and ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders and teams including General Management, Communications, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance and Global, • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and information to a range of audiences and stakeholders, • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines, • Strong track record of developing talent and building high performing teams, • Understanding of complex brands within a specialty distribution., • Ability to navigate regulatory, compliance, and legal environments to launch new programs. The Executive Director, Functional AI & Process Excellence - Market Access works across the US Market Access function to identify opportunities to implement AI technologies to solve the toughest pricing and access challenges pharmaceutical manufacturers face. This leader will collaborate with the Novartis Data and AI Innovation teams to design and scale AI solutions that expand patient access, improve the sustainability of the pricing model, and drive operational efficiencies across all key areas of US Market Access. Reporting to the VP of Payer and Pricing Strategy, this role serves as a thought-leader and catalyst for AI adoption, process mapping, and guiding functional teams in leveraging AI to enhance business performance. By fostering a strong AI culture, implementing best practices, and ensuring alignment with the broader AI strategy, this role will enable Novartis to maximize the value of AI investments within Market Access and across the enterprise.
