Fitness Program, • Pet Insurance, • Legal Assistance, • Optum Financial Service through ConnectYourCare MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: • Administers medications to clients at appropriate administration times as per valid written order, • Enters all appropriate notations in MAR regarding the administration or lack thereof for each client and each client's medication, • Ensures the Mar's are up-to-date at all times • Advises Providers when there are no refills left on chronic medications enough in advance to allow for continuity of care, • Faxes, phones, or on-line or by any other practical means advises pharmacy of medications to be filled, • Continuously reviews medications in medication cart to remove expired or redundant medications, • Reports on a weekly basis to the Director of Nursing those clients who are regularly non-compliant, • Keeps in continuous contact with pharmacy to ensure a timely, accurate delivery of all needed medications to OH, • Ensures the E-Boxes are in-date and complete at all times, • Communicate regularly with clinical staff regarding all non-compliant residents, • Communicate with Nursing on all relevant matters, • Perform any other tasks assigned by the Director of Nursing QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma Certified Pharmacy Technician Certificate PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Pharm Tech certificate training preferred/2 years' experience a plus Odyssey House is an equal opportunity employer maintaining a non-discriminatory policy on hiring of its personnel.
