Our client is looking for an experienced Pharmacy Manager, who will be the cornerstone of pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, maintaining quality and safety standards, and directly supervising pharmacists and daily workflows. You’ll work closely with operational leadership to hit production goals, resolve issues proactively, and keep leadership informed every step of the way. What You’ll Do Pharmacy Leadership & Compliance • Serve as Pharmacy Manager for the facility, ensuring full compliance with all state and federal regulations., • Represent the pharmacy during all regulatory audits, inspections, and official communications., • Maintain active Florida pharmacist license and additional state licenses as required., • Ensure adherence to cGMP standards and internal SOPs at all times. Operational Oversight • Oversee opening and closing procedures, either directly or through delegation to staff pharmacists., • Supervise staff pharmacists and support staffing adjustments based on workload, KPIs, and production needs., • Monitor aseptic behaviors, enforce operational discipline, and promote a safe working environment., • Willingness to work flexible schedules, particularly during peak volume periods. Documentation, Quality & Risk Management • Write, review, and maintain operational and production SOPs., • Review batch records and verify all associated documentation for accuracy and completeness., • Assist with investigations and complete Adverse Drug Event documentation as needed., • Maintain high-quality standards across all pharmacy processes. Clinical & Cross-Functional Support • Answer clinical questions from healthcare professionals and provide product information., • Support order verification within the pharmacy system to ensure accuracy and compliance., • Partner closely with internal teams to ensure training remains current and effective. Metrics & Continuous Improvement • Use KPIs and operational metrics to monitor productivity, timelines, and quality of output., • Adjust staffing models and workflows to drive efficiency and operational excellence., • Keep senior leadership informed of risks, outcomes, and improvement opportunities. What You Bring • Active Florida Pharmacist License (RPh) in good standing., • Ability to obtain and maintain pharmacist licenses in multiple states., • 5+ years of pharmacy experience across more than one practice setting., • 3+ years of pharmacy management or supervisory experience., • Strong working knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations., • Solid understanding of cGMP standards and their operational impact., • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
