Job Description Job Summary The Payroll Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all employees receive accurate and timely pay while fully understanding their compensation. This role supports the Payroll Supervisor in auditing and verifying timekeeping records, including hours worked, deductions, and withholdings, to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. The Payroll Administrator collaborates with multiple departments and employees to maintain an efficient and seamless payroll process. Key responsibilities include providing information and responding to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters, issuing paychecks and managing direct deposits, tracking hours worked to ensure accurate payment, and maintaining up-to-date employee records. The Payroll Administrator also ensures that any employee changes are entered accurately and processed in a timely manner. By request from the department supervisor, manager, Controller, or CFO. Work hours may include irregular hours to assist in completing special tasks or assignments, • Out-of-regional travel may be required to attend training, seminars, or work-related events, • Work will be performed in the office Special Projects • Assist the payroll supervisor, department manager, Controller, or CFO when requested to complete special projects and complete all assignments within a negotiated time frame established by the department manager, • Completion of other duties as assigned by the payroll supervisor, department manager, Controller, or CFO as it relates to the program and position Behavioral Competencies Advise/Delegate Broadly shares both responsibility and accountability.
