This is a full-time opportunity. Essential Position Responsibilities * Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations including detailed medical histories and skin examinations. * Diagnose and manage common dermatologic conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, fungal infections, and skin lesions. * Perform dermatologic procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, lesion removal, and other minor in-office procedures within scope of practice. * Assist dermatologists in identifying and managing complex skin conditions including skin cancers and chronic dermatologic diseases. * Order and interpret diagnostic tests including pathology reports and laboratory studies when necessary. * Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians. * Provide medication management including topical, oral, and injectable dermatologic therapies. * Educate patients on skin health, preventive care, treatment adherence, and lifestyle modifications. * Assist with cosmetic dermatology procedures if applicable, such as chemical peels or other non-invasive treatments. * Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record (EHR). * Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary team meetings. Qualifications Education: Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Certification: National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification required. Licensure: Active or eligible Physician Assistant license in New York. DEA registration (or eligibility). Experience: Prior experience in dermatology or a related specialty preferred.
