This is the work where teaching experience matters most. A high school junior preparing for the AP Calculus BC exam doesn't need a college student who got a 5 four years ago. Job DescriptionWe are seeking part-time Pre-College instructors for High School Math, Science, Special Education and Elective. Under the leadership of the Program Assistant Directors and Coordinators, the Pre-College Program Teachers provide academic instruction and support to students enrolled in the College Bound, GEAR UP or Upward Bound Programs. Teachers provide content-specific rigorous lessons for enrichment and remedial support. Other services and activities coordinated by the individuals in this role include design of engagement plans for students who may be struggling and offer other supports and strategies for student success.
