Now we’re looking for a Specialist, Total Rewards to take our Compensation, Benefits, and Workers’ Compensation programs to the next level. You’ll be the strategist and hands-on driver behind our pay structures and incentive plans, all with one goal: to make ENC a place where great people come, stay, and grow. This isn’t a “keep the lights on” HR role. This is a build (from scratch), refine, and win environment where you’ll have visibility across the business, a voice at the table, and the freedom to innovate, all backed by leadership that measures success in outcomes, not just effort. Job Summary: At ENC, Total Rewards encompasses Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, and Workers’ Compensation. As the Specialist, Total Rewards, you will be the key architect of our strategy, providing leadership in compensation program design, benefits administration, and business consulting. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that requires strong cross-functional collaboration and deep market insight. You’ll partner with leaders to ensure our programs align with both our business priorities and people strategy. Success in this role will depend on your breadth of experience, analytical skill, and ability to integrate Total Rewards into the broader talent framework. Key Responsibilities Total Rewards Strategy • Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive total rewards strategy aligned with business objectives and talent needs., • Develop and manage policies and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational goals., • Prepare and submit accurate and timely payroll using Paycor, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations., • Process payroll changes, deductions, and adjustments, maintaining precise records and documentation., • Administer and reconcile 401(k) contributions and loans, ensuring timely submission to the plan provider., • Conduct market research and benchmarking to maintain competitive pay structures., • Develop and maintain salary structures, job evaluation systems, and performance-based pay programs., • Manage the annual compensation cycle, including merit increases, promotions, and bonuses., • Advise HR and leaders on compensation matters and facilitate the Compensation Committee., • Administer and optimize compensation software (Salary.com) and contribute to industry surveys (e.g., Salary.com)., • In partnership with The Baldwin Group, design, implement, and manage benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary plans., • Analyze compensation and benefits data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities., • Develop and manage the annual Total Rewards budget, monitoring and reforecasting throughout the year. Qualifications • 5+ years in Compensation and Benefits roles, including incentive program design., • Proven experience aligning rewards strategies to business needs., • Strong knowledge of US compensation laws, market practices, and benefits compliance., • Workers’ Compensation claims experience required., • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities., • Comfortable with AI tools in Compensation, Benefits, Workers’ Comp, OKRs., • Paycor HCM software knowledge is a plus, • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; able to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences., • Experience influencing leaders and collaborating across HR functions.
