Job Description The Licensed Behavioral Specialist Consultant will provide services to children/youth under the direction of a licensed psychologist. The Licensed Behavioral Specialist Consultant will provide ongoing analysis, treatment planning, and monitoring of treatment implementation. Essential Duties: Other duties may be assigned. • Provide Licensed Behavioral Specialist Consultant services only, • Demonstrate a strong foundation in Applied Behavior Analysis, • Understand the behavioral characteristics typically associated with Autism, Behavior Disorders, Traumatic Brain Injury, Intellectual Disabilities, Trauma, Attachment, etc., • Design and interpret Functional Analyses of Behavior, • Design and implement multi-faceted behavior interventions, • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to handle emotionally charged situations, • Communicate (written and verbal) effectively with parents and professionals, • Understand and coordinate services with the various support systems available in the community, • Maintain all documentation with Bethanna, DPW, and MCO standards, • Provide assessment, program design and monitoring of treatment interventions, • Develop treatment plans with measurable and relevant goals and interventions for all team members, • Develop behavioral plans using applied behavioral analysis methods addressing target behaviors, • Serve as a consultant to the MT/TSS and guide the team in terms of plan implementation, • Provide Assessment and Assistance for new TSS, • Train others to apply effective behavior management techniques annually, • Analyze data collected by team, teacher, parents, etc. to assess plan efficacy, progress, and modify plans when needed, • Consult with other treatment providers, schools, DHS, CUA, etc., • Facilitate interagency team meetings to discuss treatment needs and determine plans, • Only provide services that are medically necessary and authorized, • Ensure authorized services hours are provided weekly, • Provide clinical information/data gathered to evaluating psychologist/psychiatrist to assist with the evaluation process, • Initiate obtaining addendum to psychological/psychiatric evaluations to modify prescriptions for services when needed., • Assist with the completion of the CASSP packet in a timely manner to ensure services are authorized without disruption, • Attend supervision with licensed psychologist and BHRS Clinical Supervisor as required, • Fulfill all MCO/Bethanna and credentialing requirements., • Be open to possibly providing emergency consultation for children/youth, • Maintain confidentiality within Bethanna and HIPPA guidelines An IBHS Licensed Behavior Consultant must meet All of the following: • Licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, • Certified as a BCBA or other graduate-level certification in behavior analysis from an organization that is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies or the American National Standards Institute, • Master’s degree from an accredited college, university or foreign equivalent in one of the following disciplines: psychology, ABA, social work, education, counseling or related field, which includes a clinical or mental health direct service practicum and a minimum of one year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults, • Master’s degree from an accredited college, university or foreign equivalent in one of the following disciplines: psychology, social work, education, or counseling and a minimum of one year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults Education/Experience - Master's in Arts/Science, Clinical Practicum through Master's program, and 1 year Post-Master's experience working with children (high school, college, or post- grad); degrees in psychology, behavioral health, social services, social work, etc with clinical practicum Salary - $53,000 per year Schedule - day shift with travel to schools, homes, and communities. .65 cents for every mile as travel reimbursement Location - Reed Street, Philadelphia Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 10 PTO Days, 12 Sick Days, 401k Match, 10 Paid Holidays, HSA, FSA, etc. Bethanna is an equal opportunity employer and as such does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religious creed, disability, ancestry, national origin, age, or sex or any other protected status by federal, state, or local laws, regulations and guidance in regards to non-discrimination.
