The Nitty-Gritty: What exactly you will be doing… In helping you understand your role in working for a world class organization, the following is a list of your essential job responsibilities. Please keep in mind that this list is not all inclusive and that you may be asked to perform other job tasks by your supervisors/managers not listed below in the constant quest to provide “out of this world” customer service experience for our guests: • Learn and retain complete knowledge of front office procedures and comply with all policies and procedures., • Maintain the Virgin “Tone of Voice,” culture & level of standards set forth by the management team., • Maintain complete knowledge of the following at all times., • Hotel features/services, hours of operation., • All room types, numbers, layout, décor, appointments & location., • All room rates, special packages and promotions., • Daily house count and expected arrivals/departures., • Room availability status for any given day., • Scheduled daily group activities., • Use excellent communication skills with guests and staff including verbal, written and body language., • Learn and retain knowledge of all front office technical systems (HMS, EAM, Guestware, GoConcierge, etc)., • Assist and process check-in & check-outs for our guests in accordance with their preference (traditional, kiosk, iPad)., • Process guest accounts by presenting folios to guests when requested, resolving any disputed charges & settling accounts by following accounting procedures., • Adhere to the following cashiering procedures:, • Process allowances, • Make change for guests, • Post charges, • Settle Room accounts, • Run closing reports, • Count bank at end of shift, • Complete designated cashier reports, • Drop Receipts, • Secure Bank, • Maintain a clean, hygienic and organized work environment. Set up work station with necessary supplies., • Obtain an assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies. Job Description Workshop/APD is an award-winning, multidisciplinary architecture and design firm. From dramatic penthouses and seaside retreats to luxury residential developments and groundbreaking hotels and restaurants, our projects are uniquely defined by a sense of place and purpose and a desire to ultimately enhance users experience through exceptional design. Our diverse and collaborative team of creative architects, interior designers, product designers and graphic designers leverage vast and highly varied experiences to solve complex design challenges, resulting in holistic spaces, products and experiences that are exceptionally beautiful and accessible. The Architectural Visualization Specialist will work closely with our Architectural Design, Interior Design and Marketing departments to assist with planning, designing and visualization of numerous projects across the office. This role will focus on highly detailed renderings to ensure that all ideas are represented accurately and align with Workshop/APD standards. We are looking for an architectural renderer who has strong problem solving and creative thinking skills. Responsibilities: • Interpret and translate architectural drawings, 3D models, sketches, and diagrams into compelling visuals., • Produce photo-realistic and stylistic renderings of both interior and exterior scenes., • Assist in the development of project presentations through all phases of design., • Collaborate with teams to create client facing VR and AR environments., • Present and explain visualization concepts to internal design teams, • Review deliverables to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality., • 2-4 Years experience in advanced rendering techniques, • Bachelors design strongly preferred., • Expert level proficiency in 3Ds Max, Vray, Vantage, Forest Pack, Rail Clone, and Adobe Creative Suite, • Highly proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office Suite., • Knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and other video production software strongly preferred.
