Job Description BC Forward is looking for Scanning Operator in Getzville, NY 14068 Position Title: Scanning Operator Location: 480 Crosspoint Parkway, Getzville, NY 14068 Anticipated Start Date: Jan 2026 Duration: 6-month contract with potential for extension Shift: 10:30 AM – 7 PM EST M-F (No OT). Pay Rate: $ 18.50/hr on W2 Need: 6 months – 1 year office experience/6 months inbound mail sorting / healthcare claims processing Interview Process: 1-Phone Screen, 2-IN Person/Virtual Round Job Description Centene Job Description Job Description – Responsibilities • Open, sort, count, and batch inbound paper claims received through the mail., • Scan all inbound paper claims using Imagenet scanning software., • Log and scan all inbound certified mail., • Process inbound files received from various departments to ensure proper filing., • Deliver quality work under pressure with the ability to meet deadlines., • Scan and name documents received from various departments., • Perform data entry of scanned documents., • Conduct quality control checks on scanned documents., • Ensure claims are received and sorted correctly for scanning; batch and track all offline, deleted, and pulled claims., • Understand and follow procedures while continuously monitoring system queue counts to ensure system efficiency., • Update the claims control sheet accurately and in a timely manner; report unresolved discrepancies immediately to the supervisor., • Process outgoing mail and archive various documents, records, and requests., • Health plan or business unit, • Team culture, • Surrounding team & key projects, • Purpose of this team, • Reason for the request, • Motivators for this need, • Any upcoming hiring needs?, • Fidelis, • Fast-paced work; independent and team tasks; friendly and encouraging environment; goal-oriented and purpose-driven., • N/A, • Daily Schedule & OT Expectations: (See at top of form), • Typical Task Breakdown:, • Mail intake, document review, scanning, and data entry., • Receiving incoming mail, sight determination, sorting, and scanning for electronic delivery to appropriate recipients., • Responding to emails and messages regarding special mailing requests., • Bundling outgoing mail for shipment by the outbound mail department., • Performance Expectations:, • Mail scanning: 40 units per hour, • Claims scanning: 15 batches per hour, • All mail must be sorted promptly to allow same-day scanning., • Team communication is essential, as each member’s completed task impacts the next step in the workflow., • Interaction with Team:, • Opportunity to learn health insurance claim document types and claim form processing.
