Job DescriptionAbout the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations with a focus on Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP). This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career accounting professional looking to build a strong foundation in corporate accounting. Key Responsibilities • Process and post accounts payable invoices; ensure accuracy and proper approvals, • Assist with accounts receivable, including invoicing, cash applications, and collections support, • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies, • Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation, • Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations, • Support general ledger maintenance as needed, • Respond to internal and external accounting-related inquiries, • Assist with ad hoc accounting and administrative projectsQualifications, • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or in progress), • 0-2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (internships count), • Basic understanding of AP/AR processes, • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment, • Clear written and verbal communication skillsPreferred (Nice to Have), • Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar), • Exposure to general ledger or month-end close, • Interest in long-term growth within accounting or financePay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour Search managed by: Elena Platt Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
