Modify plans as needed., • Conduct weekly room inspections to ensure healthy hygiene and housekeeping. What do I need to apply? Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in social work or psychology preferred. This key position reports to the Area Coordinator and Residential Director. SUMMARY OF POSITION QCP has a recipe for a successful Floating Residential Supervisor/QIDP. The key ingredients that you will need to join our team: • BA/BS Degree in the human services field, • Two years experience in an OPWDD program working in a supervisory capacity, • Strong coordination skills to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts, including holidays are met. The Opportunity Reporting to the President and Park Administrator, the Chief of Park Operations & Capital Planning will be a key member of the Alliance senior leadership team with overall responsibility for the strategic and operational stewardship of the park. Essential Functions • Educate and encourage residents to use leisure time appropriately and constructively., • Follow procedure in accordance to change-of-shift checklist with oncoming shift and sign change-of-shift checklist where needed., • Plan special events for weekends or evenings., • Coordinate special events with Program Directors of the Community Residence Programs, including any funds needed, time of events, number of Agency vehicles needed, staff to be assigned, etc., • Meet with supervisor for supervision., • Escort residents shopping for personal needs., • Write Medicaid Progress Notes reflecting restorative services, if applicable., • Attend staff meetings. Read staff meeting minutes if absent., • Coordinate Special Olympic activities., • Post weekly activities/groups and excursions., • Submit travel vouchers., • Use petty cash to purchase recreation supplies., • Participate and supervise residents during fire drills., • Update bulletin boards/decorate and coordinate activities for specific parties/holidays and birthdays., • Coordination of annual "Family and Friends Day" events., • Coordinate resident holiday activities and parties., • Make sure Special Olympics medical forms are completed and returned., • Teach residents socialization skills., • Submit receipts for petty cash spent., • Read Communication Log Book., • Converse with shift going off duty for any pertinent information, i.e., appointments, overall residents’ behaviors, changes in medication, etc., • Document in Communication Book any pertinent information regarding residents., • Be able to sit or stand as needed, with or without reasonable accommodation., • May require walking, primarily on a level surface, for short periods throughout the day, with or without reasonable accommodation., • Be able to reach above shoulder heights, below the waist or lift as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday, with or without reasonable accommodation., • Driver’s license required., • Dispense and/or supervise morning, afternoon and evening medication.
