Boise (zip code 83712) offers a vibrant downtown, abundant outdoor recreation, and a welcoming community—making this an ideal Idaho travel nursing assignment. \n\nJob Details\n\n • Location: Boise, Idaho (83712) — Boise nursing jobs / Idaho travel nursing\n, • Position: Registered Nurse (Telemetry) / Telemetry RN / Travel Nurse\n, • Setting: Acute Care, Telemetry Unit (Floors 3 & 7)\n, • Contract Length: 13 weeks\n, • Start Date: March 16, 2026\n, • End Date: June 15, 2026\n, • Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), weekends as needed\n, • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week\n, • Estimated Weekly Salary: $1800-$1890/week\n, • Floating: Required to float between Telemetry units and to sister facilities in Meridian & Nampa as needed\n, • Orientation: 2 shifts (1 on each floor)\n, • Dress Code: Any color scrubs\n, • Charting System: EPIC (electronic medical record)\n\n\nQualifications — Telemetry RN / Cardiac Nursing\n\n, • Minimum 2 years recent Telemetry or post-procedural cardiac nursing experience (post-op cardiac, cath lab, ablations, open heart)\n, • Active RN license (Idaho license or multistate compact preferred)\n, • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS\n, • Proficient in reading and interpreting telemetry strips and documenting findings\n, • Experience with titration of cardiac drips and post-procedural cardiac care\n, • Preferred: PCU / Stepdown experience\n, • Willingness to float to other Med-Surg, MS-Tele, or Tele units and to sister facilities\n, • Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills\n\n\nKey Responsibilities — Telemetry Nursing / Travel RN Duties\n\n, • Provide high-quality nursing care to telemetry patients on Floors 3 & 7 in an acute care setting\n, • Continuously monitor and accurately interpret cardiac telemetry; document findings twice per shift\n, • Care for patients with diverse diagnoses including post-op cardiac, CHF, sepsis, electrolyte imbalances, and post-stroke\n, • Titrate drips as needed (heparin, insulin, cardiac gtts, amiodarone, diltiazem/cardizem, dopamine, dobutamine)\n, • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, respiratory therapy, and remote telemetry techs\n, • Float between Telemetry units and sister facilities in Meridian & Nampa based on patient needs\n, • Assist with orientation and support of new staff and traveling nurses\n, • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EPIC and follow hospital policies and telemetry nursing protocols\n\n\nWhy Join Our Team\n\n, • Traveler-friendly leadership that values and integrates travel nurses into the team\n, • Hands-on acute care telemetry experience in a supportive environment\n GHR Healthcare Job ID #467236.
