Job Description Position Overview The Operations Coordinator is a key operational role responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations across fleet logistics, inventory, scheduling, compliance, and cross-team coordination. This execution-focused position requires a highly organized, proactive individual who anticipates challenges, uses data to inform decisions, and keeps operations moving efficiently without constant supervision. The Operations Coordinator works closely with operations leadership, drivers, warehouse teams, vendors, and clients to ensure that resources, inventory, and services are in the right place, at the right time, and fully compliant. Key Responsibilities Logistics & Fleet Operations • Coordinate daily fleet activity, including vehicle deployment, routing, maintenance scheduling, and issue resolution., • Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment and delivery execution., • Build and manage daily staffing and resource schedules., • Ensure adequate coverage across routes, events, and operational needs., • Track inventory levels for supplies, equipment, and operational materials., • Coordinate procurement with vendors, including quotes, pricing, and delivery schedules., • Maintain compliance with food safety, fleet, and regulatory standards (local, state, DOT, ServSafe)., • Track permits, licenses, certificates of insurance, and expiring documentation., • Track key operational KPIs related to fleet usage, delivery performance, inventory, and staffing., • Prepare operational reports highlighting trends, risks, and improvement opportunities., • Serve as the central communication hub between drivers, warehouse teams, operations leadership, vendors, and clients., • Ensure accurate, timely, and professional information flow during time-sensitive operations. Qualifications & Skills • Experience in operations, logistics, fleet management, or supply chain coordination (food industry experience preferred)., • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail., • Clear, confident written and verbal communication., • Proficiency with Excel and operational systems (fleet management software, ERP, project management tools)., • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret operational data., • Ability to stay calm and make decisions under pressure., • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record., • ServSafe Manager Certification (or ability to obtain quickly) preferred.
