Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V ACCOUNTING CLERK POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for a highly organized and detail‑oriented Accounting Clerk to join our Gift Card Accounting team. This role requires someone who can manage diverse tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain structure in a fast‑paced, data‑heavy environment. You will play an important part in ensuring the accuracy of gift card liability through weekly reconciliation, issue resolution, reporting support, and coordination with internal and external partners. If you excel at organizing information, handling multiple responsibilities, and working with large datasets, this role is a strong match. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Process, validate and input weekly/monthly gift card activity, • Maintain structured, organized financial records and documentation for audits, month‑end, and ongoing reconciliations, • Perform weekly and monthly reconciliations across multiple systems (ERP, merchant & 3rd party processors), • Research and resolve transaction variances and discrepancies, • Prepare organized reporting summaries for internal teams and leadership, • Complete diverse daily tasks including data entry, file matching, issue tracking, and variance investigation, • Support month-end close through journal entries, account reconciliations, and schedules, • Communicate with internal departments, merchant partners, and operations to resolve questions efficiently, • Assist with audit requests by compiling clean and well-organized documentation, • Maintain confidentiality, internal controls, and data integrity QUALIFICATIONS: Required: • Minimum 4 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations experience, • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage diverse tasks and shifting priorities, • High accuracy in data entry and comfort working with large datasets, • Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, filters), • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, • Experience in gift card accounting, stored value programs, or retail environments, • Familiarity with SAP, • Understanding of deferred revenue and liability accounting, • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field KEY SKILLS: • Organization and file management, • Multi-tasking and task prioritization, • Data reconciliation and variance research, • Analytical thinking, • Communication and cross‑team collaboration, • Deadline and time management Benefits (Subject to Change): • 401(k) matching, including Roth options, • 3 Medical insurance plans, • Dental insurance, • Vision insurance, • Employee assistance program, • Flexible spending account, • Health savings account, • Life insurance, • Short-term disability insurance, • Long-term disability insurance, • Paid time off (10 holidays, 3 weeks PTO), • Tuition reimbursement, • Referral program, • Wellness programs, • Hybrid work schedule
