Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, this pivotal role is responsible for creating and executing strategies that drive sales growth across current, adjacent, and emerging markets. Position Summary The Southeast Region - Outside Sales Representative will play a key role in driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building lasting customer relationships, and promoting Curtis Industries’ full range of products across the assigned territory. This is a field-based role that requires significant regional travel and a hands-on, consultative sales approach within the dealer networks. Key Responsibilities • Manage and grow assigned sales territory across the assigned region., • Identify, qualify, and close new sales opportunities with dealers., • Contribute to sales efforts with OEMs and distributors as appropriate., • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities for upselling and repeat business., • Conduct regular in-person customer visits, product demonstrations, and trade event participation., • Understand and communicate the technical features and benefits of Curtis products and custom solutions., • Work closely with internal teams (Engineering, Customer Service, Manufacturing) to support customer requirements., • Prepare quotes, proposals, and forecasts using sales tools., • Track and report on sales activities., • 3–7 years of experience in outside sales, preferably in manufacturing or industrial equipment sales., • Proven track record of meeting sales quotas and territory growth., • Ability to understand technical product specifications and communicate value to varied audiences., • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills., • Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational ability., • Willingness to travel regionally (up to 70%) with frequent overnight stays., • Proficiency in sales tools and Microsoft Office Suite., • Experience selling through distribution/dealer networks., • Knowledge of vehicle accessories, fabrication, or agricultural/utility vehicle markets.
