Position Summary ISI is seeking a Construction Administrator (CM-CA) to provide onsite administrative and construction management support to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for the Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) Infrastructure Upgrade at the Joseph Maxwell Cleland VA Medical Center in Decatur, GA. The CM-CA supports the onsite construction management team and VA Contracting Officer Representatives (COR) by managing construction documentation, coordinating information flow, tracking project actions, and preparing official correspondence. Responsibilities include logging and tracking submittals, RFIs, and change orders; preparing meeting minutes; assisting with QA documentation; and supporting weekly and monthly reporting. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience supporting construction projects in healthcare or federal environments. Key Responsibilities • Provide administrative and coordination support for the CM team and VA COR., • Receive, review, log, and route submittals, RFIs, correspondence, and change order documentation., • Maintain tracking logs, Ball-in-Court reports, and document status summaries using VA systems (e.g., OpCenter, Procore)., • Prepare and distribute meeting minutes, agendas, reports, and official correspondence., • Track and compile QA documentation, inspection records, and deficiency reports., • Maintain construction records for submittals, schedules, and testing/commissioning deliverables., • Support weekly and monthly reporting requirements for progress, safety, and schedule status., • Coordinate site visit scheduling, meeting logistics, and document distribution., • Organize and maintain digital and hardcopy project files aligned with VA documentation standards., • Assist with review and verification of contractor pay applications and close-out documentation., • Prepare summary reports, spreadsheets, and presentations for management and VA leadership., • Serve as administrative liaison between ISI, VA, and contractors. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning; OR a high school diploma/GED and at least 3 years of construction administration or documentation experience., • Demonstrated experience supporting construction documentation workflows such as submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, logs, or schedule tracking., • The CM-CA shall present three (3) projects of comparable scale and complexity where they held a similar position (required)., • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and construction documentation tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, VA OpCenter)., • Strong organizational, communication, and detail-oriented skills., • Familiarity with construction terminology, QA/QC documentation, and project recordkeeping., • Experience in healthcare and information technology (IT) projects/facilities is critical., • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. Preferred Qualifications • Prior experience supporting VA, DOD, or other federal medical center projects., • Knowledge of VA Technical Information Library (TIL) standards and reporting requirements., • Experience with Ball-in-Court tracking, federal submittal workflows, and construction documentation procedures., • Experience preparing official correspondence, briefings, and project records for federal clients. Physical / Work Environment This is a full-time, onsite position at the Decatur VA Medical Center, with limited travel to nearby VA facilities (Fort McPherson and Carrollton, GA). Standard work hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Work is primarily office-based but may require occasional site walks.
