Job DescriptionJob Title: Sales Manager Position Overview The Sales Manager is responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing team of sales representatives to achieve individual and organizational revenue targets. This role combines strategic sales leadership, key account management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive sustainable growth. The ideal candidate brings strong industry knowledge, proven sales performance, and the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse sales team. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Performance Management • Lead, coach, and manage a team of sales representatives to achieve sales goals and professional development milestones., • Conduct regular sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews., • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase revenue and expand market share., • Identify new business opportunities and support sales reps in closing high-value deals., • Monitor performance metrics, track KPIs, and provide accurate reporting and forecasting to leadership. Account Management, • Manage and grow a portfolio of select key accounts, serving as the primary point of contact., • Strengthen customer relationships through proactive communication and strategic partnership., • Partner with operations, supply chain, and customer service teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer experience., • Align with internal stakeholders to support product availability, pricing strategy, and service improvements. Systems & Documentation, • Ensure CRM systems are accurately maintained, with timely updates to account activity, pipeline progress, and sales documentation., • Represent the company with professionalism when engaging with customers, vendors, and industry partners., • Uphold company values and promote a strong brand presence in the marketplace. Qualifications Required • Approximately 5 years of sales experience, ideally within the oils, lubricants, automotive, industrial, or closely related industries., • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets., • Experience managing key or strategic customer accounts., • Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and negotiation skills., • Ability to analyze sales data and make informed, data-driven decisions., • Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)., • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally as needed. Preferred • Prior experience leading, supervising, or mentoring a sales team., • Background working with complex product lines or technical sales environments. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Wyandanch, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $125000.00/hr.
