Job Description Motor Assistance Vehicle Technician (MAVT)/ Motor Assistance Vehicle Operator (MAVO) SUMMARY: The Motor Assistance Vehicle Technician/Operator (MAVT/MAVO) is responsible for all aspects of patients’ care within the scope of certification. Essential Job Functions The Motor Assistance Vehicle Technician/Operator (MAVT/MAVO) is an integral part of the Virgo transportation team. In this position the MAVT/MAVO transports ambulatory patients to and from residences and or skilled nursing facilities to medical treatments and or appointments, and then return them. Some of the patients are able to ambulate to our vehicles while other must be moved in their wheelchairs, or are able to move on their electric scooters. No person is to ride the lift while standing, or on the electric scooter. The patients are placed in a wheelchair to go up on the lift, and they are moved inside and secured to the vehicle either on the bench seat or in the wheelchair. Should there be an aide or family member accompanying the patient, they must be secured in the vehicle as well. The MAVT/MAVO must check to see if any belongings or paperwork must accompany the patient for the transport, and then ensure that it gets dropped off with the patient. For each trip the appropriate documentation must be filled out, and where required, obtain the necessary signatures from the patient and /or facility. In the event monies are to be collected at time of service, a receipt is to be filled out and a copy given to the patient, or the person accompanying the patient. The MAVT/MAVO must be capable of good oral communications as for every leg of the trip dispatch must be communicated with, as to alert them to the status of the transport. In addition should any incident occur dispatch must be notified in a timely manner. The vehicle being used for any particular shift must be checked both prior and post usage for mechanical operations, fluids, and general cleanliness. The MAVT/MAVO must be able to utilize maps in order to locate facilities or residences that they are not aware of, with the assistance of dispatch. At the conclusion of the MAVT’s/MAVO's shift they must turn in the appropriate paperwork, and monies collected. Job Description Job Summary: As a member of our warehouse team, you will take orders from request to reality, in an environment where you’ll feel and create a culture of safety and family. You will safely and efficiently move and track all inbound outbound, and stored products within the warehouse. This includes performing a variety of tasks such as; offloading, stocking, selecting, and replenishing products to ensure that the warehouse is providing NYMTC customers with exceptional service and quality. Essential Job Functions: • Receiving all inbound merchandise and locating proper pick location., • Restocking order pick and flow lines to prepare warehouse for order selection., • Ensuring placement of product in sufficient quantities to accommodate routine or special demands., • Maintaining a high level of attention to detail by ensuring that proper attention is given to all areas including, but not limited to; balers, aisles, racking, floors, door pits, and other areas as assigned., • Transferring merchandise from the receiving area to their stock location., • Consolidating merchandise into picking containers, as necessary., • Packing products securely in cartons and totes., • Using the appropriate equipment, ensure that safe and efficient movement and tracking of any inbound, outbound, and stored products within the warehouse., • Maintaining inventory integrity by adhering to system processes at all times., • Pulling orders according to sequencing on delivery route/run list., • Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed., • Performing end of shift tasks such as charging power equipment and verifying completed work., • Maintaining clean, orderly workstation-returning supplies and merchandise to assigned locations., • Committing to safe work practices in adherence with NYMTC safety policies and requirements., • Performing other tasks and duties as assigned.
