Position Overview: The Vice President of Client Services will oversee a high-performing team dedicated to supporting our athletes and talent. This senior leadership role involves managing client relationships, directing teams in creative services, social and digital strategy, and day-to-day off-field/off-stage needs such as housing assistance, reservations, travel logistics, and more. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with deep expertise in the sports industry, capable of scaling operations while maintaining white-glove service for high-profile clients. Responsibilities: Leadership & Client Management • Lead, mentor, and develop client service professionals, including account managers, creative directors, social/digital specialists, and concierge staff. Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation., • Serve as the primary liaison for top-tier athletes, ensuring all services align with their unique needs and career goals., • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and retention., • Collaborate with agents and other department heads to deliver integrated, best-in-class client solutions., • Manage team onboarding, training, coaching, and professional development initiatives. Operations and Strategy • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables for client partnerships in collaboration with agents., • Partner with Business Development and EVP Brand and Talent to identify and pursue new opportunities., • Evaluate and implement tools, analytics, and processes to optimize department performance., • Track and report KPIs related to client satisfaction, team productivity, and service efficiency., • Developing and managing overarching budgets and timelines for marquee client partnerships in partnership with client agents., • On-going evaluation of new tools, analytics and services that would benefit the department and larger agency. Marketing/Creative Services • Develop and execute client service strategies to further talent’s marketability, business growth and branding with contract potential., • Utilize best in class social media analytics tools and insights to provide social strategies and execution., • Provide executive oversight on the reporting materials for key client accounts to demonstrate agency value and inform strategy adjustments., • Partner closely with internal team key stakeholders throughout the execution and reporting process to identify opportunities for strategy shifts & improvement., • Ability to discern between the role of client services and larger business support needed for client ventures., • Identify opportunities for talent that would benefit from larger PR support and coordinate appropriate resources., • Oversee creative services including content creation, branding, and pitch development., • Participate in recruiting efforts for new clients, whether NIL or professional athletes, at the direction and discretion of the division heads and agents. Client Service Management • Ensure white-glove service standards across all client touchpoints, • Create a unique on boarding experience for clients, inclusive of company merchandise, on boarding materials and service offerings., • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key personnel within the company and professional teams, • Monitor client performance against service level agreements and proactively resolve issues., • Manage everyday lifestyle logistics, such as housing assistance, travel bookings, reservations, event coordination, and personal concierge support., • Identify business development opportunities with existing clients Agency Promotion • Assist the EVP of Brand and Talent in maintaining company branding aligned with strategic direction and values, • Manage annual event calendars encompassing all company and client events and identifying promotional and development opportunities, • Oversee creation of marketing materials, promotional content and company merchandise., • Identify opportunities for the company and executive visibility in business and industry media, • Coordinate company -wide communications on talent events, milestones and achievements Qualifications: • 7-10+ years in client services, talent management, or agency roles within the sports industry (e.g., athlete representation, sports marketing agencies, or player associations), with proven track record managing teams and high-profile clients in professional sports., • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams (10+ direct/indirect reports) in fast-paced, high-stakes environments., • Deep understanding of athlete/musician needs, including off-field challenges like endorsements, media, lifestyle management, and crisis response., • Collaborative, team-oriented work style with ability to build effective business relationships., • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with VIP clientele., • Proficiency in digital/social media tools, creative production processes, and concierge/logistics platforms (e.g., travel software, CRM systems like Salesforce)., • Strong business acumen, including budgeting, P&L management, and strategic planning., • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field (MBA preferred)., • Must be eligible to work in the United States. Travel Out-of-town and overnight travel is a necessary component of the position and should be expected. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and general hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m., with phone calls, texts and emails during off-hours. This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work.
