Job DescriptionBAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an Associate to join our Hospice Admin Team. The Associate position will perform a variety of administrative functions, including running and distributing reports, data entry, processing EMR tasks and responding to service inquiries. This position is an entry-level professional track position and will offer training and continuing education to support a career in management and leadership within BAYADA Home Health Care. This is a remote position. Candidates should live with the EDT time zone. Responsibilities for an Associate: • Demonstrate and communicate the core values of BAYADA and The BAYADA Way., • Develop working knowledge of BAYADA's mission, services, people, organization, policies and procedures., • Monitor and process designated tasks within EMR (HomeCare HomeBase) or other software platforms., • Produce and distribute various reports., • Complete data entry requests., • Review various business documents (contracts, physician orders etc.) for accuracy and completeness., • Respond to service-related customer inquiries, as appropriate., • Identify and escalate service failures, as appropriate., • Adhere to standard operating procedures and maintain daily/weekly productivity expectations., • Provide exceptional customer service., • Liaise with third party vendors, as appropriate., • Demonstrate solid performance or exceed performance standards in key job dimensions/attributes as defined on the Performance Appraisal for Office Staff., • Exemplifies characteristics of The BAYADA Way: compassion, excellence and reliability., • Four (4) year college degree., • Prior hospice experience., • Experience with HomeCareHomeBase is a plus., • Ability to work independently, motivate and be self-motivated, flexible, versatile, and creative., • Possess strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability., • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram or schedule form., • Demonstrate a wide degree of creativity, initiative, and problem solving is expected., • Willingness and drive to exceed expectations; spend the time and effort necessary to complete all tasks to the highest level., • Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) applications and ability to learn various software applications required to perform job functions., • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment balancing multiple client requests simultaneously., • Possess well developed oral and written communications skills, attention to detail and ability to interact effectively with management., • Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English., • BAYADA Home Health Care offers the stability and structure of a national company with the values and culture of a family-owned business., • Newsweek's Best Place to Work for Diversity, • Newsweek's Best Place to Work for Women, • Newsweek's Best Place to Work (overall), • Newsweek's Best Place to Work for Women and Families, • Glassdoor Best Places to Work, • Forbes Best Places to Work for Women, • Paid Weekly, • Mon-Fri work hours, • AMAZING culture, • Strong employee values and recognition, • Small team at a local office, • Base Compensation: $22.00-$25.00 / Hour depending on qualifications, • BAYADA offers a comprehensive benefits plan that includes the following: Paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, vision, dental and medical health plans, employer paid life insurance, 401k with company match, direct deposit and employee assistance program BAYADA is celebrating 50 years of compassion, excellence, and reliability.
