Job DescriptionDescription: Armed Patrol Officer Location: Inland Empire, California Compensation: $19.00 – $24.00 per hour (DOE – Dependent on Training & Experience) Position Overview Intergraded Security Management Group (ISMG) is seeking professional Armed Patrol Officers to provide high-visibility patrol services for a variety of clients throughout the Inland Empire. Officers are responsible for protecting life and property while maintaining a strong customer service presence and enforcing client rules and regulations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Conduct vehicle and foot patrols of assigned properties, • Protect lives and property through proactive patrol and observation, • Enforce client rules and regulations; address violations appropriately, • Prepare clear, accurate, and concise incident and activity reports, • Utilize company-issued two-way radios and provide detailed information to our Computer Automated Dispatch (CAD) system, • Make contact with unauthorized persons and conduct field interviews when necessary, • Appear in court as required, • Provide security for large gatherings, assemblies, and special events, • Conduct preliminary investigations related to assigned cases, • Maintain professional interaction with local law enforcement agencies, • Perform additional duties as assigned to enhance the safety and security of client communities Preferred Qualifications: • Prior law enforcement experience, • Police academy graduate, • Strong report writing and communication skills We believe our greatest asset is our employees. Certification Module or POST Certified Basic Academy Graduate preferred, • Prior military experience preferred, • Two (2) years of public safety patrol experience may substitute for law enforcement or academy experience for qualified candidates, • Strong verbal and written communication skills for public interaction and report writing, • Authorized to work in the United States, • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation, • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening, • Ability to maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standards, • Valid California Guard Card (required prior to employment), • Valid California Exposed Firearms Permit (required prior to employment), • Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record, • Valid Tear Gas and/or Pepper Spray Permit, • Reports to work on time and completes assigned shifts, including overtime if required, • Maintains a neat, professional appearance and wears a complete, clean assigned uniform in accordance with company policy, • Demonstrates a friendly, professional demeanor and delivers high-quality customer service, • Communicates effectively (both verbally and in writing), • Understands and properly executes post orders, including enforcement of client and company policies, rules, and regulations
