    We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our team at our Brooklyn office. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about racial justice, social equality, and the inner workings of a nonprofit organization. The Administrative Assistant will provide critical support to our staff, ensuring smooth daily operations and contributing to the success of our initiatives. This is a paid, part-time position requiring 32 hours per week. The schedule will be determined in coordination with the selected candidate. Responsibilities Provide administrative support to staff, including scheduling, filing, and organizing documents. Assist with office management tasks, such as maintaining supplies and coordinating meetings. Manage data entry, record-keeping, and database maintenance. Support communication efforts, including drafting emails, memos, and reports. Assist in organizing events, workshops, and community outreach initiatives. Collaborate with team members on special projects as needed. Qualifications Strong interest in racial justice, social equality, and nonprofit work. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
