Job Description Job Description We are seeking a reliable and motivated CNC Programmer with prior experience. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in operating and programming CNC machinery and a strong desire to expand their skills and responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: * Operate CNC machines (both lathe and mill) safely and efficiently to produce precision parts. * Setup and program CNC machines. * Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and inspection plans. * Load/unload parts and inspect work using measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.). * Monitor machines for proper operation and report any issues to the supervisor. * Perform basic machine maintenance (change tooling, clean area, etc.). * Keep accurate records of work performed and parts produced. * Work closely with senior machinists to learn setup procedures. * Demonstrate a willingness to take on increasing responsibilities over time. Qualifications: * Minimum 2 years of CNC machine setup and programming experience. * Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications. * Knowledge of G-code and CNC controls is a plus. * Strong attention to detail and quality. * Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. * Willingness to learn and grow into a setup role. * Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment.
