Toscana offers agents access to our copious connections, professional programs, and a high comission rate split. Typically, real estate companies have a 50/50 split wherein if an agent closes on a house, whatever commision is earned is split evenly between the company's broker and the agent whose listing it is. However, at Toscana we offer agents at minimum a 70/30 split, with agents reaping 70% of the commision's profit, but agents who are particularly prolific and thrive at Toscana are given even higher percentages after a few years with us. We believe in rewarding tenacious, dilligent agents, even if it means incuring a cost. As an independent contractor, you are given the freedom to make your own schedule, choose your own clients, and generally abide by your own rules. We do ask agents to keep us in the loop and have a few policies to make this possible, simply to ensure all members are getting the support they need and to have an idea of how the company is doing. This notwithstanding, Toscana operates with mores that reflect the commensensical appeal of real estate: largely hands-off unstructured work which necessitates an independent, entrepreneurial mentality but comes with true independence and flexibility. We work with all types of properties, be it commercial or residential, and both sides of a transaction, buyers and sellers, so you can choose to work broadly or identify and target a niche. Job Description: Our growing real estate firm is seeking a motivated and energetic Sales and Rentals Real Estate Agent to join our team. As an agent, you will be responsible for listing and selling residential and commercial real estate, negotiating purchase agreements and contracts with buyers and sellers, hosting open houses and other events, preparing market analysis to help determine property value, educating clients on basic real estate procedures, and verifying and disclosing property facts to clients.
