Job Description Crawford, Murphy & Tilly is seeking a Marketing Proposal Coordinator to join the team in Springfield, IL or Indianapolis, IN office. This is not a remote position. We are a fast-growing firm with 500+ employees across 25 offices in 10 states serving clients through our four primary business groups: • Aviation, • Surface Transportation, • Water Resources, • Building & Site Services As a Marketing Proposal Coordinator, you'll play a key role in crafting compelling proposals and marketing materials that showcase our expertise and win new business. What you will do: With support, coaching, and direction from CMT’s Marketing Proposal Manager and technical leaders, you will serve the firm in the following capacities: • Plan and coordinate the proposal development process, including scheduling, editing, writing, designing, and production of proposals and statements of qualifications., • Work cross-functionally with firm leaders, technical staff leads, partner organizations, and marketing team colleagues to develop compelling proposal strategies and messaging., • Apply creative thinking and visual storytelling to highlight key messaging., • Ensure compliance with proposal requirements, • Develop interview strategies, presentation, and materials, • Develop brand-approved marketing collateral and materials, • Contribute to proposal database management processes, • Utilize marketing, communications, and/or design software to develop content and follow processes (i.e. Adobe Creative Suite, Office 365, Monday.com), • Build and maintain cooperative and trusting relationships with Marketing teammates and technical staff, • Submit quality work for review and approval in a timely manner, • Uphold marketing standards and brand usage guidelines, • Participate in efforts towards continuous improvement and innovation, • Align with and embrace CMT's mission and core values Here is what you’ll need: • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Graphic Design or related field., • 1-5 years' experience in Marketing, Communication, Graphic Design or related field., • Proficient knowledge of marketing and/or communications techniques, tools, and principles., • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat Pro)., • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite., • Strong verbal and written communication skills, • Strong interpersonal and active listening skills, • Strong attention to details and thoroughness in completing tasks, • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines and multiple concurrent tasks, • Strong copywriting, proofreading, and editing skills, • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement solutions, • Demonstrated responsiveness, professionalism, and teamwork Ideally, you will also have: • Passion for thinking creatively and developing new design concepts, graphics, and layouts., • Additional consideration will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in the engineering, architecture, or consulting industry. The expected compensation range for this position is $58,000 - $78,000 annually. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on numerous factors, including but not limited to individual education, qualifications, prior work experience, and geographic location.
