Job DescriptionAustin Cosmetic Surgery is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) and Medical Assistant to join our elite surgical team. This dual-role position is ideal for a polished professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume cosmetic surgery environment and is equally confident supporting both in the operating room and in patient-facing clinical care. Our practice is a premier, boutique surgical center serving a discerning patient population, where white-glove service meets hospital-level safety standards. You will work directly alongside Dr. Michelle Cabret and Dr. Kimberly Prock, contributing to transformative surgical outcomes while delivering an exceptional patient experience. Position Overview This role bridges surgical precision with clinical support. The ideal candidate maintains impeccable sterile technique in the OR while also assisting with pre- and post-operative care, ensuring continuity and excellence across the patient journey. Key Responsibilities Operating Room (Primary Focus): • Prepare and maintain a sterile field for all surgical procedures, • Anticipate surgeon's needs and ensure efficient case flow, • Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment with precision, • Assist with patient positioning, draping, and intraoperative support, • Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols, • Turn over OR suites efficiently between cases Clinical & Medical Assistant Duties:, • Assist with patient intake, vitals, and pre-operative preparation, • Support post-operative care, including dressing changes and patient education, • Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation (ModMed experience preferred), • Assist providers with in-office procedures and treatments, • Ensure exam rooms are fully stocked and presentation-ready, • Deliver a high-touch, concierge-level patient experienceQualifications, • Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification (NBSTSA required), • Minimum 2–3 years of operating room experience (cosmetic or plastics preferred), • Experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting, • Strong understanding of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation, • BLS certification (AHA preferred), • EMR/CRM experience (ModMed a plus), • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, • Professional, polished appearance and demeanorWhat Sets You Apart, • Experience in cosmetic or plastic surgery, • Ability to anticipate needs before they are expressed, • Calm, confident presence in a high-performance environment, • Passion for aesthetics, patient care, and surgical excellence, • Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to practice cultureCompensation & Benefits, • Competitive hourly pay based on experience, • Employer-paid health insurance (available at next enrollment period), • 401(k) with employer match (eligible after 90 days), • PTO package + paid federal holidays + paid birthday, • Quarterly aesthetic treatment allowance (approval required), • Opportunity to work alongside nationally recognized surgeons in a rapidly growing practiceOur CultureAt Austin Cosmetic Surgery, we operate with intention, precision, and pride.
