Treating patients 0-21 years of age experiencing, but not limited to, respiratory illness, trauma, sepsis, neurological disorders and diabetic ketoacidosis. The PICU also cares for patients who require complex surgical intervention that includes neurosurgery and pediatric open-heart surgery.
