Redefine Healthcare is looking for a dedicated, full-time Motor Vehicle Coordinator to join our expanding team of healthcare professionals in our Paterson Office. The Motor Vehicle Coordinator will manage MVA patient intakes, coordinate legal requests, maintain patient records, and ensure timely submission of required documents, all while adhering to HIPAA guidelines and supporting the needs of the department. This full-time role requires strong organizational and communication skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Job Title: Motor Vehicle Accident Coordinator Salary/Pay Rate: $19-20/hour depending on specialty and experience Hours: 40 hours per week Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Paid time off, sick time, health insurance (medical, dental, vision, accident, and critical illness), life insurance, 401(k) with Company match, yearly bonus Job Title Duties (not limited to): • Handle all MVA patient intakes and schedule appropriately., • Mange all legal requests such as, but not limited to, medical records, narratives, and depositions., • Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the electronic health record (EHR) system., • Submit all required documents to insurance., • Submit work in a timely manner., • Follow-up on all requests., • Review patient's medical history and insurance coverage for approval., • Contact physicians and/or attorneys for additional information as needed., • Monitor schedule for potential issues., • Assist with other clerical tasks as needed., • Adhere to HIPAA guidelines in handling patient records., • Complete Ad hoc projects or tasks as they arise., • Communicate with supervisor or doctor scheduling conflicts and/or patient requests as they arise Minimum Level of Education or Experience Required: • High school Diploma or equivalent, Associate Degree or higher in related field preferred., • Minimum 1-2 years experience in a related health field or surgical coordinator role., • Proficiency in the EMR System, • Excellent organization and time management skills, • Effective communication skills to interact with medical professionals, patients, and families
