Logan Property Management is looking for a Roving Maintenance Supervisor in San Diego, CA! The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations across a multi-property residential portfolio, including direct maintenance responsibility for Olivewood Gardens Apartments and Golden Age Apartments (approximately 136 total units), and supervisory oversight and support for Bella Vista Apartments on Solola Avenue in San Diego.This role ensures that all properties are maintained in a safe, compliant, and high-quality condition. The Maintenance Supervisor performs hands-on maintenance work while also supervising maintenance technicians, coordinating work orders, ensuring timely completion of repairs, and supporting operational goals in partnership with Logan Property Management’s corporate team.This is a working supervisor role and is classified as non-exempt under California law. The Maintenance Supervisor is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable wage and hour laws.Responsibilities: • Property Maintenance Operations (Olivewood Gardens and Golden Age Apartments), • Perform and oversee routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general repairs, • Ensure timely completion of service requests in accordance with company standards, • Prepare vacant units for occupancy, including full unit turns, inspections, and repairs, • Maintain property grounds, common areas, building systems, and equipment in safe and working condition, • Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and preventative maintenance opportunities, • Provide supervision, guidance, and support to the Bella Vista maintenance technicians, • Monitor work order completion, quality of work, and productivity, • Ensure maintenance technicians follow company procedures, safety standards, and timelines, • Assist with prioritization of maintenance tasks and ensure operational efficiency, • Support technician training, accountability, and performance expectations, • Partner with corporate maintenance leadership to ensure consistent standards across all properties, • Support maintenance planning, scheduling, and workload coordination across the three properties, • Assist in identifying and resolving operational, safety, and maintenance issues, • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local safety, housing, and building regulations, • Maintain accurate maintenance records, documentation, and work order tracking, • Participate in emergency maintenance response, including after-hours coverage as requiredQualifications, • Minimum 6 years of apartment maintenance experience, • Minimum 3 year of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience preferred, • Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and general maintenance, • Ability to supervise, support, and coordinate maintenance staff, • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, • Ability to prioritize and manage maintenance needs across multiple properties, • Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportationPreferred:, • EPA Certification (Type II or Universal), • Experience with multi-property portfolios, • Experience with property management maintenance systemsPhysical Requirements:, • This position requires the ability to:, • Lift up to 30 pounds, • Stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders frequently, • Bend, kneel, stoop, and reach regularly, • Use tools and equipment required for maintenance work, • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
