Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Financial Risk Governance and Business Control Consultant in Dallas, TX. In office position W-2 only • Type: Fulltime (40 hours/week) contract, • Length: 9+ months, possible temp to hire, • Shift/Hours: 8A – 5P, • Pay rate: $58/hr The Risk Governance Team within Business Controls plays a critical role in risk oversight and governance, supporting issue management, corporate audits, targeted risk assessments, operational incidents, regulatory reporting, and Single Process Inventory (SPI) maintenance. We are seeking an experienced Business Governance Consultant to join the team and lead initiatives related to risk within Wealth Management Operations (WMO), while also driving horizontal risk initiatives across Global Operations (GO) and other Enterprise areas. Key Responsibilities • Partner with WMO leadership and operational teams to identify, assess, and address risks., • Coordinate corporate audits, regulatory exams, targeted risk assessments, PwC SOC 1 audits, and issue management., • Oversee and maintain accurate documentation of the Single Process Inventory (SPI) for WMO., • Manage a portfolio of issues (self-identified, audit, and risk-identified), ensuring timely resolution and reporting., • Collaborate with business and control partners to strengthen risk management frameworks and drive proactive risk culture., • Support operational risk governance programs, including NFRR/FRR, HRCI oversight, and risk/control/metrics reporting.
