We are looking for sharp, problem-solving technicians with well-rounded multidiscipline fabrication skillsets. Film industry, live event, and/or theater experience is desired – people who can thrive in projects on fast timelines, where minimal instruction and direction is provided to achieve first-class results. This role reports directly to the Show Systems Leader, and is composite to a larger team of diverse skillsets. This position gives direction to audio and video over-hire crews on a regular and consistent basis, evaluates job performance of over-hires, makes recommendations for discipline as needed based on supervisory observation, acts as the crew lead/supervisor for the Audio Video crew when working split shifts with the Audio Video Supervisor to cover long work calls, maintains the Audio Video department equipment and work areas. This position reports to the Audio Video Supervisor and is a non-exempt position covered by a collective bargaining agreement with I.A.T.S.E. WHAT YOU’LL DO • Supervise and give direction to audio and/or video technical work crew members and run crew members on a regular and consistent basis;, • Collaborate with the A/V Supervisor, evaluating which skill-sets are needed to work a shift, and determining which over hires are called for a shift. Give direction to over hire crew during load-in, and maintenance of shows and strike. Job Summary: Our client is seeking a Project Manager to join their team! This position is located in Burbank, California. Duties: • Lead and manage the technology implementation for a new TV studio set, ensuring successful integration of all audio-visual systems, • Collaborate closely with company's Real Estate Development, Facilities teams, and the Construction Project Manager to align technology requirements with overall construction plans, • Review and interpret architectural and electrical plans to ensure proper technology design and placement, • Oversee procurement of audio-visual equipment and related technology assets, ensuring timely delivery and installation, • Develop and track project milestones, schedules, and deliverables using Smartsheet and Jira, • Coordinate timing and sequencing of technology installations in alignment with construction activities, • Serve as the primary point of contact for technology-related activities, ensuring seamless communication between stakeholders and vendors, • Provide oversight and direction during technology build-outs in theater and conference room environments, • Ensure all technology installations meet quality standards, compliance requirements, and project deadlines, • Apply expertise in the audio visual, project management, and technology integration to deliver a fully operational studio environment Desired Skills/Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, • 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager, with a focus on technology implementation in construction environments such as: school campuses, studios, or large facilities, • Proven experience managing audio-visual (AV) projects and overseeing the deployment of physical AV assets, • Strong knowledge of technology integration in theater, conference room, or studio environments, • Proficiency with project management tools such as Smartsheet and Jira, • Demonstrated ability to review and interpret architectural and electrical plans for technology installations, • Excellent coordination skills with cross-functional teams, vendors, and construction project managers, • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and deliver on time and within budget Benefits: • Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance Plans, • Employee-Owned Profit Sharing (ESOP), • 401K offered The approximate pay range for this position is between $46.52 and $66.46.
