Carry out patient treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist, which may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional training., • Provide direct patient care. Instruct and assist patients with prescribed exercises and activities to improve strength, mobility, and coordination., • Administer modalities. Apply various therapeutic techniques such as heat, cold, and electrical stimulation as directed by the PT., • Document patient progress. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments, progress, and responses to therapy using our EMR system., • Communicate effectively. Collaborate with the Physical Therapist and other support staff, and educate patients and families on their treatment plan., • Education: Associate's degree from a physical therapist assistant program accredited by CAPTE., • Licensure: Active and valid NJ PTA license., • Certification: Current CPR/BLS certification., • Experience: 1 year of experience in an outpatient setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply., • Work-life balance.
