Position Overview As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) Child & Adolescent at ECC, you bring clinical expertise in supporting children and teens navigating emotional, behavioral, developmental, and relational challenges. You understand the importance of developmental context, family dynamics, school systems, and peer relationships in shaping a young persons mental health. This role is ideal for clinicians who are passionate about working with children, adolescents, and their families; who are comfortable collaborating with caregivers, schools, and other providers; and who value integrative, relational, and developmentally attuned care. You will be part of a connected, engaged team that values dialogue, shared learning, and genuine professional relationships. Responsibilities • Provide individual therapy to children and adolescents, and family sessions as clinically indicated, • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and collaborate with clients and caregivers to develop individualized treatment plans, • Support children and teens in building emotional regulation skills, strengthening coping strategies, navigating peer and family dynamics, and improving self-esteem, • Partner with parents and caregivers to provide psychoeducation, guidance, and support for behavioral and relational challenges, • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with ethical, legal, and organizational standards, • Participate in weekly case consultation and monthly team meetings designed to support clinical quality, growth, and connection, • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including counselors, social workers, psychiatrists, and integrative practitioners, as appropriate, • Adhere to Washington State LMHC licensure requirements, professional ethics, and scope of practice, • Engage in ongoing professional development, continuing education, and licensure maintenance Our Approach to Growth, Feedback, and Collaboration We believe growth happens best in environments that are both safe and structured. We support this through: • Regular team dialogue and consultation, • Quarterly check-ins Qualifications • Masters degree in Counseling or a related field, • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington State, • Minimum 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience preferred (but not required), • Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical setting, • Experience collaborating with families and caregivers, • Proficiency with DSM-5-TR or ICD-11 diagnostic frameworks, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, • Experience working with diverse populations, • Proficiency in EHR systems, • Ability to transition an existing caseload or openness to building a sustainable caseload within a group practice setting, • Ability to provide telehealth services (preferred) Who Thrives at ECC Therapists who thrive at ECC enjoy being part of a connected, collaborative team and value engaging relationally with colleaguesnot just clients.
