Tulsa, Oklahoma (zip code 74104) is known for friendly neighborhoods, a thriving arts scene, and beautiful parks—making it a great place for travel nurses and healthcare professionals to live and explore during their assignment. • Location: Tulsa, OK 74104 (Tulsa travel nursing, Oklahoma nursing jobs), • Assignment Length: 13 weeks (March 30, 2026 – June 29, 2026), • Setting: Labor & Delivery Unit (15 beds) — obstetrics, perinatal unit, • Shift: Days, 3 x 12-hour shifts (06:30 – 19:00), • Hours per Week: 36 (option for 48 hours available), • Employment Type: Travel Nurse, On-site, Travel RN, • Scrubs: Provided, • Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required, • Estimated Weekly Pay: $1800-$1900/week, • Valid Oklahoma RN license or Compact RN license (required at time of submission), • Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery / obstetrics nursing (L&D RN) experience, • Previous travel nursing experience preferred (travel RN experience), • Required certifications: BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, • Proficiency with basic and intermediate fetal monitoring (external/internal, EFM), • High-risk antepartum and delivery experience strongly preferred (high-risk obstetrics), • Ability to work every other weekend and float to similar units as needed, • Provide comprehensive perinatal and postpartum care to laboring mothers and newborns in a fast-paced obstetrics setting, • Perform and interpret fetal monitoring (external and internal fetal heart rate monitoring), • Assist with high-risk deliveries, C-sections, and postpartum recovery (C-section assist, surgical support), • Administer medications and manage IV therapies, including magnesium sulfate, insulin drips, and antihypertensives, • Support breastfeeding, lactation education, and patient-centered newborn care, • Conduct OB triage, perform sterile vaginal exams, and manage triage workflow, • Monitor and respond to abnormal fetal heart rate patterns and emergent obstetrical situations, • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, IV team, and social services Apply now to join our Labor & Delivery team in Tulsa, OK — join our healthcare team today and make a difference for mothers and babies!
