It is very busy and we are looking to hire an additional Automotive "C/B" Technician. We need someone who has experience in “C/B” technician work. Will train. Strict operating hours and Holidays PAID. We will train on our state-of-the-art latest equipment. Automotive Technician Responsibilities: • Perform maintenance and repair on customer vehicles., • Tire repair, • Oil Change, • Friendly Customer Service, • Explain automotive repairs and issues and provide great customer service., • Perform basic auto care and maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation., • Repair and replace brakes, and other parts., • Perform routine maintenance and general mechanic work on vehicles., • Help keep the repair shop clean and organized., • We will provide uniforms to keep a professional appearance. Automotive Technician Requirements: • Hold a valid driver's license., • Ability to maintain a professional appearance in uniform and provide friendly customer service., • Perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment., • May lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs., • High school diploma or equivalent required., • Experience as a lube technician., • Must have your own tool set., • Good hand-eye coordination. You will also be responsible for maintaining repair shop equipment. This requires interpreting and working from drawings, specifications and other technical materials., • Must be able to utilize a ladder and other elevation equipment to access the roof of tractors and containers and elevated light fixtures for repairs and maintenance., • Must operate CDL and Non-CDL vehicles tractors and straight trucks to perform road tests, as well as shuttle in an out of the garage for repairs and maintenance. This is a safety sensitive job and all duties are regulated by the DOT., • Must be able to lift heavy equipment (up to 100lbs) including brake drums, tires, ladders, tool chests, floor jacks, etc. when necessary., • Document repairs and parts on work orders completely and accurately., • Must be thoroughly familiar with all safety provisions associated with vehicle maintenance. Understands OSHA standards and provisions. Qualifications • High school diploma or GED is required, • Associate degree or completion of a diesel service technician training program is preferred, • Strong customer service and communication skills are required
