Job Description The Role We are seeking an Bookkeeper who can also assist in some Office Management support to join our team! This role combines elements of Bookkeeping and Office management It’s perfect for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and is highly detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, with a knack for multitasking and problem-solving. You’ll play a crucial part in ensuring our office runs smoothly while supporting attorneys, clients, and experts throughout the legal process. Key Responsibilities: Bookkeeping & Financial Support: • Bank Transaction Recording, • Account reconciliations, • Processing checks and sending payments to clients and vendors, • Paying bills, • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the firm, • Order and manage office supplies, equipment, • Monitor and tracking settlement proceeds, especially when they involve third party companies, • Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, • Assist in planning conferences and other events, • Support hiring and onboarding of new staff, • Attention to Detail – You notice the small things and take pride in accuracy., • Strong Communication Skills – You’re professional, friendly, and can communicate effectively with clients and colleagues., • Multi-Tasker & Problem-Solver – You can juggle multiple responsibilities without getting overwhelmed., • Proactive & Self-Motivated – If you have downtime, you seek out work instead of waiting for tasks., • Previous experience as an office manager/bookkeeper or other professional service is required., • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal Administration, or related field is required., • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, email management, and general office software., • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and deadlines, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, • Ability to prioritize, multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment, • Competitive salary.
