We are seeking an experienced Radiation Oncology Nurse Practitioner for a 20-day locum tenens assignment in New York. This role begins Jan 2, 2026, with orientation, followed by clinical work starting Jan 5, 2026. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, focusing on ambulatory hemophilia care. Job Details • Location: New York, • Start Date: Jan 2, 2026, • LOA: 20 days, • Provider Type Needed: Radiation Oncology Nurse Practitioner, • Assess, diagnose, monitor, and manage patients with ambulatory hemophilia and related hematology/oncology conditions, • Promote health and disease protection within the designated patient age group as specified by specialty and New York State NP certification, • Perform history and physical exams, including pelvic exams when indicated, • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and therapeutic modalities within specialty scope, • Implement therapeutic interventions for appropriate conditions, • Conduct arterial puncture and blood gas sampling, • Provide debridement and general care for superficial wounds and perform minor superficial surgical procedures, • Perform incision and drainage of superficial abscesses, • Insert and remove non-weighted nasogastric or oro-gastric tubes, • Complete Death Certificate Protocols, • Remove central venous catheters, • Current New York NP license required, • Must hold one of the following board certifications: Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (AGACNP-BC), Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (AGPCNP-BC), Adult Nurse Practitioner Certification (ANP-BC), or Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP), • Required certifications: ARC-PA, ACLS, BCLS, • Experience in hematology/oncology and ambulatory hemophilia management strongly preferred, • Strong compensation, • Travel-related expenses covered, • A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided #LI-SC1
