Job Description About ACC Technical Services ACC Technical Services is a growing Managed Services Provider (MSP) delivering reliable, forward‐thinking IT services to SMB and mid‐market clients. This Account Manager role is designed to work closely with—and directly support—our Sales Manager, ensuring strong client relationships, account growth, and seamless coordination between sales, service delivery, and technical teams. About the Role The Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing an assigned portfolio of clients after the initial sale. You will serve as the primary commercial point of contact, ensuring client satisfaction, identifying expansion opportunities, and helping translate business needs into ongoing technology solutions. This is a relationship‐driven role that blends account management, light sales execution, and internal coordination. You’ll partner closely with the Sales Manager on strategy, forecasting, and key opportunities, while maintaining day‐to‐day ownership of client accounts. What You’ll Do • Manage a portfolio of SMB and mid‐market client accounts, • Act as the primary client advocate and relationship owner post‐sale, • Identify and execute account expansion opportunities, including:, • Managed IT services upgrades, • Cloud, cybersecurity, and collaboration solutions, • Infrastructure refreshes and lifecycle projects, • Partner with the Sales Manager on pipeline development, forecasting, and strategic accounts, • Coordinate with service delivery, technical teams, and vendors to ensure smooth execution, • Conduct regular account reviews focusing on value delivery, renewal readiness, and growth, • Monitor contract terms, renewals, and customer satisfaction metrics, • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and account documentation What We’re Looking For • 3–5+ years of experience in account management, client success, or IT sales, • Experience working in an MSP, IT services, VAR, or technology environment preferred, • Close connections with Syracuse's business community, • Strong relationship‐building and communication skills, • Comfortable discussing technical solutions at a business‐value level, • Organized, proactive, and accountable with strong follow‐through, • Ability to collaborate with sales leadership and technical teams, • Familiarity with managed services contracts and recurring revenue models, • Knowledge of infrastructure, networking, cloud, or cybersecurity solutions, • Work directly with an experienced Sales Manager and executive leadership, • Clear growth path into senior account management or sales leadership roles, • Competitive compensation with performance incentives, • Hybrid flexibility and strong work‐life balance, • Be part of a company focused on long‐term client success, not one‐off transactions Company DescriptionLocated in Syracuse, NY, ACC Technical Services has served clients since 1991 with a focus on going beyond simply fixing the problem.
