About the Role We’re building the financial backbone for modern real estate, a system where data flows intelligently, ledgers stay audit-ready, and financial operations scale effortlessly. You’ll own the operational workflows and user experience that power our accounting and finance engine—rent flows, payables, inter-company transactions, close/reconciliation, and reporting—all inside a graph-based platform built for accuracy, explainability, and automation. This role isn’t tucked away in the back office. You’ll sit at the intersection of product, finance, data, and AI, owning the systems that bring clarity, integrity, and automation to every financial decision. Responsibilities • Creation of user-friendly tools for controllers, accountants, and operators to handle workflows with precision and ease, • Collaboration with AI teams to embed smart automations, including predictive cash flows, anomaly detection, and intelligent categorization, • Translate corporate finance, accounting, and payment requirements into frontend workflows that integrate seamlessly with backend data structures, • Design intuitive workflows that eliminate pain points, streamline user journeys, and introduce features that enhance the overall experience, • Architect backend data into reliable, explainable, auditable, and scalable rule engines, • Continuously improve the efficiency and interconnectivity of enterprise-level systems, including integrated third-party tools, • Serve as a product subject matter expert for design and engineering teams to accelerate development, • Lead change management efforts to build user trust, drive product adoption, and strengthen feedback loops for continuous improvementIdeal Background, • Proven strength in UX for complex internal tools: you simplify without dumbing down and obsess over edge cases and exception flows, • 5–10 years of product management experience, including 2+ years working with enterprise-level financial systems such as accounting, FP&A, fintech, or other related ERP modules, • Experience designing mission-critical systems involving payments, financial reporting, and internal controls, • A track record of turning complex finance rules into scalable, reusable product logic, • Strong cross-functional communicator who can translate between Finance, Ops, Design, Engineering, and Data, • Curiosity for how AI and automation can simplify complex workflows, and the judgment to apply it thoughtfullyTechnical Skills, • Excellent written communicator; can produce crisp PRDs, process maps, and acceptance criteria engineers can build from, • Experience with financial and payment technologies, such as Stripe, Checkout.com, • Understanding of compliance frameworks for global payments and accounting standards, • Strong understanding of UX research and service design methods (workflow mapping, usability testing, prototypes)What Sets You Apart, • Deep user empathy and an operator mindset, • Bias toward clarity: you build trust through transparency, explainability, and predictable system behavior, • Grit + craft: you’ll go deep on details (edge cases, permissions, auditability) while keeping momentum, • Ability to switch between strategic systems thinking and hands-on execution We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
