A Brief Overview A Technician Trainee will be trained and educated to become a proficient auto glass technician. Upon completing our training program, the trainee will receive the Safelite SafeTech certification and will possess fundamental skills necessary for performing unsupervised glass repair, replacement and recalibrations. Job Summary The Lining Equipment Mechanic is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining equipment including steam generators, UV light trains, boiler systems, and remote robotic cutters. This full-time, on-site role is based in Lodi, NJ and requires hands-on technical expertise to ensure all equipment runs safely and efficiently on sewer and water restoration projects. The Mechanic also calibrates and tests machinery such as pressure gauges and temperature sensors to ensure lining installations meet engineering and safety standards, and works closely with field crews throughout project execution. Key Responsibilities • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on CIPP lining equipment including steam generators, UV light trains, boiler systems, specialty trailers, and remote robotic cutters., • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues across all lining equipment and associated systems., • Maintain and manage steam boiler systems in compliance with applicable safety codes, state regulations, and manufacturer requirements., • Calibrate and test pressure gauges, temperature sensors, and related instrumentation to verify that lining installations meet engineering and safety specifications., • Set up, service, and repair remote robotic cutting equipment used for lateral reinstatement following CIPP installation., • Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics to guide diagnosis and repair procedures., • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, calibration results, and equipment condition., • Adhere to all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and confined space procedures at all times., • Work collaboratively with field crews to ensure equipment is ready and available for each project., • Perform other duties as assigned by the Foreman or Superintendent. Required Qualifications • Valid boiler operation certificate with a minimum of two years of relevant boiler maintenance experience., • 23 years of hands-on experience in mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems, including heavy equipment maintenance and specialty trailers., • Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems., • Proficiency with robotic cutting equipment., • Strong understanding of safety standards and protocols in a construction environment., • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics., • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training preferred. Job Description Motor Assistance Vehicle Technician (MAVT)/ Motor Assistance Vehicle Operator (MAVO) SUMMARY: The Motor Assistance Vehicle Technician/Operator (MAVT/MAVO) is responsible for all aspects of patients’ care within the scope of certification. Essential Job Functions The Motor Assistance Vehicle Technician/Operator (MAVT/MAVO) is an integral part of the Virgo transportation team. In this position the MAVT/MAVO transports ambulatory patients to and from residences and or skilled nursing facilities to medical treatments and or appointments, and then return them. Some of the patients are able to ambulate to our vehicles while other must be moved in their wheelchairs, or are able to move on their electric scooters. No person is to ride the lift while standing, or on the electric scooter. The patients are placed in a wheelchair to go up on the lift, and they are moved inside and secured to the vehicle either on the bench seat or in the wheelchair. Should there be an aide or family member accompanying the patient, they must be secured in the vehicle as well. The MAVT/MAVO must check to see if any belongings or paperwork must accompany the patient for the transport, and then ensure that it gets dropped off with the patient. For each trip the appropriate documentation must be filled out, and where required, obtain the necessary signatures from the patient and /or facility. In the event monies are to be collected at time of service, a receipt is to be filled out and a copy given to the patient, or the person accompanying the patient. The MAVT/MAVO must be capable of good oral communications as for every leg of the trip dispatch must be communicated with, as to alert them to the status of the transport. In addition should any incident occur dispatch must be notified in a timely manner. The vehicle being used for any particular shift must be checked both prior and post usage for mechanical operations, fluids, and general cleanliness. The MAVT/MAVO must be able to utilize maps in order to locate facilities or residences that they are not aware of, with the assistance of dispatch. At the conclusion of the MAVT’s/MAVO's shift they must turn in the appropriate paperwork, and monies collected. They will provide conflict mediation services and serve as conduits to the program’s Outreach Workers who work with program participants on a long-term basis. Reporting to the Outreach Worker Supervisor, the Outreach Worker will serve as a mentor and peer counselor to a caseload of 10-15 individuals most impacted by community violence, redirecting them toward positive attitude, behavior, and lifestyle changes.
