Join a stable, 30+ year precision manufacturer in Batavia, IL as a direct-hire, 1st shift CNC professional producing and rebuilding custom components for packaging and roll stock machinery. What you’ll tackle • Set up and operate Haas and Mazak CNC lathes to produce precision parts, • Write, edit, and adjust programs from engineering drawings and job travelers, • Run secondary operations like deburring, light grinding, drilling, and tapping, • Inspect with calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and other basic tools, • Hold quality by making tool and wear offsets and monitoring in-process features, • Surface and solve issues with machinists or engineering when they arise, • Keep the work area safe, clean, and organized; support other shop areas to maintain flow, • Work a steady Monday–Friday schedule with occasional overtimeWho succeeds here, • Minimum 1 year of CNC lathe/turning experience in a shop environment, • Can read blueprints and follow job travelers, • Uses measurement tools confidently and accurately, • Understands decimals and metric math, • Can lift up to 40 lbs and stand for the full shift, • Comfortable in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment, • Holds a high school diploma or GED, • Can read and write in EnglishExtra points, • 1–2 years of CNC turning, • Haas or Mazak experience, • Mastercam or conversational programming (Mazatrol) exposure, • Background machining parts for packaging equipment or rebuilds, • Interest in learning additional machines/operationsWhy you’ll want this seat, • Direct-hire, full-time, 1st shift, • No rotating shifts — predictable weekdays, • Competitive hourly pay + overtime as needed, • Paid training and meaningful skill advancement, • Clean, organized shop with long-tenured teammates, • Benefits: health insurance, 401(k) with company match, profit sharing, PTO, holidays, paid uniformsTech you’ll touch, • CNC Lathe (2–4 axis): Haas, Mazak, • CAM/Conversational: Mastercam, MazatrolProficiencies we value, • GD&T, • CNC Tooling, • Troubleshooting Skills, • CNC Programming, • G-Code, • Tape Measure Reading, • Machine Setups for Production Runs, • Manual Machining Skills

Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Communications (required); Marketing, Digital Media, or related fields a plus., • Proven experience in social media content creation or digital marketing., • Strong skills in video editing, photography, and graphic design., • Proficient in social media tools and platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok, Meta Business Suite, Canva, etc.)., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail., • Ability to work independently, visit multiple dealership locations, and meet deadlines., • Passion for automotive content is a plus!
