Position Summary: We are seeking a Director of Digital Product to lead the end-to-end product strategy for our customer-facing digital experiences across web, mobile, and self-service channels. This senior role holds portfolio-level ownership, drives cross-functional influence, and carries direct accountability for customer experience, digital adoption, and revenue-adjacent outcomes. The Director will operate as a hands-on product manager while also guiding and developing other product managers, ensuring strategic alignment, high-quality delivery, and customer-centric excellence across all digital touchpoints. This role will be based in our Naperville IL office. Our office environment is a key driver of our company culture and employee experience, so a regular in-office hybrid model (generally T-TH in office and M & F remote) is required. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Product Strategy & Ownership • Define and execute the product vision and strategy for customer-facing digital experiences across acquisition, onboarding, servicing, claims, and account management., • Translate business goals into a prioritized, outcome-driven roadmap., • Lead customer research for all digital journeys; serve as the Voice of the Customer across digital channels., • Identify, size, and prioritize customer and business problems using qualitative research, funnel analytics, and behavioral data., • Own the digital product roadmap and backlog; prioritize initiatives based on impact, effort, and strategic alignment., • Define product features, end-to-end journeys, and acceptance criteria; establish KPIs and validate performance post-launch., • Partner closely with Engineering Managers to plan delivery, manage trade-offs, and ensure high-quality execution., • Design and run A/B tests, multivariate tests, and pilots to drive improvements in conversion, engagement, and self-service adoption., • Act as the SME for digital customer experience, journey design, and modern product practices., • Influence without authority across Technology, Marketing, Operations, BI, Finance, and other teams to align on priorities and outcomes., • Communicate clearly with senior leadership on strategy, progress, risks, and business impacts. Experience and Qualifications of the Role: • 6+ years of Product Management experience with ownership of customer-facing digital products at scale., • 5+ years of experience of direct people management experience leading Product Management teams with a track record of consistently recognizing and rewarding excellent performance and addressing performance issues head-on, without delay., • Experience managing multiple web properties and platforms with significant traffic and transaction volume., • Proven success leading digital transformation within Agile product environments., • Strong discovery and journey-mapping capabilities; you lead with problems, not solutions., • Deep understanding of human-centered design, digital funnels, and behavioral analytics., • Hands-on expertise with experimentation and data-driven decision making., • Operates at a principal level with high autonomy and high accountability., • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and align cross-functional teams., • Clear, direct, and transparent communication style; thrives in complex, fast-paced environments., • Strong understanding of modern digital architectures, analytics platforms, and front-end technology., • Experience collaborating closely with design systems and front-end engineering teams., • Experience with Salesforce-integrated digital experiences a strong plus., • Background in subscription or membership-based businesses a strong plus. The base pay range for this position is $197,285 - $280,000 USD Yearly. The specific pay offered will depend on qualifications, experience, education and skill set. The compensation offered may also include an annual performance-based bonus, sales incentive plan or commission target.
