(Lead)., • Compensation will grow with experience, education, and achievements, • 401k/Simple IRA with employer match, • A school leadership team that supports the professional and personal growth of the staff, • Health Care- Medical/dental/vision benefits, • Paid holidays, sick days, Paid training, and paid time off (per employee handbook), • Discount childcare for your dependents, • Clear expectations, necessary resources and supplies provided, and support to meet children's needs, • CPR and First Aid training provided, • Full-time and part-time positions are available, Monday-Friday, no weekends, • The opportunity to make a differenceResponsibilities:, • Is responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children., • Observes all rules and regulations at Primrose School of East Aurora and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children., • Assesses each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis., • Implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum and programming., • Collaborates with co-teachers to ensure that daily classroom management tasks are completed., • Plans with a member of the Leadership Team the parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations., • Maintains an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence., • Provides verbal recognition and acceptance to children while providing clear and consistent expectations for the children's behavior., • Accepts responsibility for maintenance and necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom, common use areas and playgrounds., • Attends all required staff meetings, workshops and/or school functions., • Maintains overall professional personal appearance adhering to the guidelines offered in the Primrose School of East Aurora Employee Handbook, • Assists in other capacities that Director, or designee, determines is necessary.Our ideal candidate has the following:, • A solid commitment to building positive relationships with staff, families, and the community., • CDA, Associate, Bachelor, or Master's degree in ECE or related field required, or partial college completion is also considered., • Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred., • Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children., • A passion for early childhood education and a vision of excellence.Skill Sets:, • Coachable, • Competent and confident, • High integrity, • Good listening and follow-up skills, • Able to work with others harmoniously, • High coping capabilities, • Solution and detail-oriented, • Strong organizational skills
