Position Summary Reporting to the Field Operations Senior Manager, the Project Manager is responsible for overseeing national project workflows and ensuring consistent execution across work‑in‑progress (WIP) and operational initiatives. This role provides organizational structure by distributing responsibilities across the team. The Project Manager will supervise PPLs, manage onboarding processes, support Field Operations, and maintain visibility into project timelines, risks, and deliverables. This Hybrid role is based in our Naperville, IL office. Our office environment is a key driver of our company culture and employee experience, so a regular in-office hybrid model (generally T-TH in office and M & F remote) is required. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Lead and own all project management initiatives previously managed by the Project Coordinator role, ensuring continuity and scalability., • Maintain comprehensive oversight of all work‑in‑progress (WIP) projects across field operations nationwide., • Track, manage, and communicate project timelines, deadlines, handoffs, deliverables, and dependencies for the Field Operations organization., • Serve as the primary communication hub for field teams, providing clear visibility into project progress, priorities, blockers, and risk areas., • Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure responsibilities are clearly defined, appropriately distributed, and aligned with operational goals., • Oversee power performance lead responsibilities related to WIP tracking, project coordination, and progress reporting., • Train, mentor, and develop provider performance leads to maximize role effectiveness and operational efficiency., • Ensure timely and accurate reporting that enables field teams to anticipate upcoming work and dependencies., • Identify process gaps and inefficiencies; recommend and implement process improvements to enhance execution and scalability., • Maintain balanced workloads across the team to support sustainable growth and avoid operational bottlenecks., • Ensure project ownership, reporting lines, and escalation paths are clearly defined to improve organizational clarity. Experience and Qualifications of the Role • Demonstrated experience in project management or operations leadership., • 3+ years of people leadership experience., • Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities., • Excellent communication and cross‑team collaboration skills., • Proficiency in tracking project timelines, risks, and deliverables., • Strong presentation skills., • Experience working with or supporting teams and sub-contractor networks., • Background in coordinating onboarding or training workflows., • Baseline knowledge of trades (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, appliances)., • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written., • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize tasks., • Effective problem solving and analytical ability., • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, balancing priorities, and meeting deadlines., • Demonstrated experience building rapport and collaboration with colleagues, internal and external stakeholders, with demonstrated ability to contribute to team effort, • Adaptability and ability to respond to changing demands and priorities., • Ability to exercise judgment and work independently, and handle sensitive data., • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills., • Strong skills in building internal and external relationships., • Effective verbal and written communication skills., • Ability to influence across the organization to drive compliance activities., • Focused attention to details and highly organized., • Ability to multi-task many priorities simultaneously., • Proficient with Microsoft Office software applications. The base pay range for this position is $93,840 - $140,670 USD Annual. The specific pay offered will depend on qualifications, experience, education and skill set. The compensation offered may also include an annual performance-based bonus, sales incentive plan or commission target.
