River Street Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM Assignment Duration: 16 Weeks Position Overview The Deposit Maintenance Specialist is responsible for managing and processing incoming returned mail related to deposit accounts and customer information. This role ensures accurate updates to Customer Information Files (CIF), maintains data integrity within the core banking system, and supports regulatory compliance related to customer address maintenance. Essential Job Functions • Process and log all incoming returned mail from USPS, including debit card mailers and other bank correspondence., • Review returned items, verify customer information, and determine appropriate follow up actions., • Complete maintenance updates to Customer Information Files, including address changes and account related updates., • Contact customers to verify updated address information when required., • Generate and send change of address letters and forms., • Remail customer documents when updated address information is already on file., • Flag accounts with appropriate status., • Document and label items with customer numbers and dates; scan and archive all completed items to the department drive., • Sort, open, review, and organize all returned mail in accordance with department procedures. Tools & Systems Used • Microsoft Word, • Jack Henry Xperience (Core System), • Konica MFD Requirements • High school diploma (or equivalent) and one or more years of banking or related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred, but not required • Operational banking experience a plus Competencies • Strong communication skills (verbal/written), • Ability to work well with others, • Strong computer proficiency, efficiently navigates systems and tools, • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Location Details This position requires you to work onsite in Aurora, IL, on a daily basis to fulfill the responsibilities of the role. Compensation & Benefits Base pay: $17.00-$19.00/hour Old Second is committed to fair and equitable pay practices.
