Job DescriptionSr Attorney/Of Counsel - Construction Litigation Sr Attorney/Of Counsel - Construction Litigation Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr/Of Counsel level attorney to join our Construction Litigation team. This role is essential for providing expert legal counsel on construction-related disputes, ensuring the protection of our clients' interests in complex legal matters. Key Responsibilities • Manage and oversee construction litigation cases from inception to resolution, • Advise clients on legal rights and obligations related to construction defects and disputes, • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, claims, and pleadings, • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings, • Conduct legal research to support case strategies and arguments, • Collaborate with construction professionals to understand project specifics and potential legal implications, • Provide risk management advice to clients on custom project agreements and contract administration, • Handle payment disputes and breach of contract claims effectively, • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school, • Admitted to practice law in NJ & NY, • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction litigation or related field, • Strong knowledge of construction law, including contracts, AIA guidelines, and risk management, • Proven track record in managing complex litigation cases, • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment • Medical, dental & vision insurance, • 401k, • PTO, • Bonus, • For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
