We are looking for a Strategic Account Manager to support our EMEA team in the Basque region. The role focuses on developing and nurturing business relationships with current and potential customers to generate and grow bookings and billings for the company. Responsibilities • Qualify allocated accounts to determine their potential and the appropriate sales channel as directed by line manager. Meet or exceed sales targets., • Implement the mission statement and the six pillars of the go‑to‑market strategy., • Undertake regular account visits in person – expect a minimum of six visits per week to present the unique sales proposition and create opportunities for quoting or receiving bill of material listings., • Ensure customer profiles and all activity information are accurate within the CRM, including visit reports, technical opportunities, and follow‑through on opportunity discovery to increase part count., • Breakthrough new accounts utilizing self, line manager, technical, marketing, and corporate support as necessary., • Produce a weekly call plan in the defined corporate format., • Identify and develop all design opportunities through design support from the Technical team, enabling sales of designed products to commence and pull through business., • Ensure daily review of the quote dashboard, maximizing potential available while maintaining data integrity., • Conduct block diagram reviews consistently, including the assigned FAE, line manager, and focus suppliers as required., • Maintain a proven sales track within the company or other electronic distribution business, consistently delivering high levels of sales and a focused account base. A degree is preferred., • Communicate clearly, and demonstrate strong interpersonal and presentation skills in Spanish and English., • Be commercially astute, highly organized, self‑motivated, and focused on achieving end results., • Maintain a high level of accuracy, work under pressure, and pay close attention to detail., • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the electronics distribution industry and current market; supplier knowledge would be an advantage., • Work independently and as a member of the team. Qualifications • Strong background in sales within the electronic components or distribution industry., • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets., • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in both Spanish and English., • Strong organizational and self‑motivation skills., • High accuracy and diligence under pressure., • Knowledge of electronics distribution market and supplier relationships an asset.
