Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the role has the responsibility to speed up supply chain processes within organizations, collaborating with different teams such as Part 145, purchasing and warehouse to facilitate operations, materials movement, inventory control, record keeping. and scheduling. The expeditor will ensure timely supply of components from suppliers and to maintenance operations, as well as oversee the status of component repairs, proactively keeping all stakeholders up to date. The selected person may be based in our office of Mutxamel, Alicante. Main responsabilities Ensure prompt delivery of materials and services by communicating with vendors on the status of critical orders and eliminating difficulties and delays. Responsible for monitoring the flow of work from supply procurement to actual product deliveries. Proactively manage expedites by calling and working closely with suppliers and providing regular and accurate feedback. Maintains records of goods that have been ordered and corresponding shipping dates. Confirm shipping dates with vendors and monitor shipping notices to avoid potential problems with deliveries. Track goods in transit and report major shipping problems to purchasing agent. Ensure to meet production and delivery targets, for both line and base maintenance. Identify process gaps and consult with management to determine solutions. Maintain business relationships with suppliers to ensure their assistance if an unexpected event requires expedited shipping of an order. Maintain a clear and open line of communication with suppliers, couriers, maintenance planning and operations, warehouse, and purchases. Together with warehouse and quality inspects shipments to confirm that products received meet specifications. Improve turn-time performance, meeting and exceeding internal KPIs. Support resolution to deliveries issues, identify threats to service levels, and negotiate proposals to resolve and mitigate. Develop positive and strong supplier relationships, seek to improve working methods and communications. Undertake routine strategic supplier meetings and reviews. Core capabilities Good knowledge of English. Excellent organizational and communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration across various departments. Strong team player and customer focused with good problem-solving skills to identify potential issues and develop proactive solutions. Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems needed to check purchase orders and maintain purchasing records. Effective in time management and prioritisation with a strong commitment to safety and compliance. Detail-oriented and analytical with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. ️ Required qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related subject. Experience in an aviation related supply chain environment. Required experience At least 5 years' experience in global Supply Chain operations.
